“Our Business English department is of great importance for both private and public institutions. The main objectives of the operator are to make the best use of the financial, financial and human resources of the organizations, and to carry out the functions of planning, implementation, control and supervision for the benefit of the institution and its stakeholders. With these characteristics, graduates of the department of business administration constitute the indispensable human resource of the economy.

While establishing the English Department of Business Administration at our university, not only domestic employment and the domestic market economy were considered, it was aimed to meet the middle and high level qualified managers demand of our graduates from international organizations. The department of business encompasses many fields from the social sciences. In order for an operator to be a good manager, he must first know the economy well. In this direction, there are micro and macro economics courses in our department. Again, an operator has to be an expert in subjects such as accounting, marketing, finance, human resources management, total quality, which are the basic functions of the business. For this purpose, our department offers courses that will equip students on these subjects and improve their knowledge and skills. The courses in our department are constantly updated, today's leading topics, especially industry 4.0 crypto money systems, digital marketing, are added to our curriculum, new management techniques after the covid 19 pandemic period, decision making techniques such as game theory are transferred to the course contents. Again, in the last period, especially considering the need for entrepreneurs and the support given to entrepreneurs, our department also offers courses on this subject and students who successfully complete the entrepreneurship course are entitled to receive the entrepreneurship certificate of KOSGEB.

We also encourage students in our department to do internships in various branches of business. Our academic staff, who teach in our department, have been managers in long-established private sector organizations for a long time. They provide theoretical information to our students, as well as provide examples from practice and aim to bring the importance of putting theory into practice as a mentality. In addition, our students are motivated and encouraged to learn a second foreign language, and contribute to their theoretical and practical language development through foreign languages ​​in our curriculum and student exchange programs. Similarly, by providing our students with internship opportunities abroad, it is also aimed to gain a global perspective in the globalizing world.

Our graduates, equipped with the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge, have the chance to find jobs in many different fields, both in the private and public sectors.

As the head of the Business English department, my most important advice to my young friends is to do what they love and want to be successful in business life. We advise our students on the areas in which they are talented. Evaluating their own characteristics within the framework of these recommendations will enable them to move towards the right areas and develop a solid career planning. Being located in the Esenyurt region, which is one of the most important features of our university, which hosts more than 5% of the Turkish industry, provides an opportunity for our students to observe business life and evaluate their talents correctly. Instead of a mindset focused only on taking courses at the university, directing them to practice what they have learned, identifying their individual strengths and weaknesses by making correct observations, improving their horizons with foreign experiences and gaining foreign language skills will offer our students a sought-after, consistent and successful business life and career.”
